Since this effort of continuous reduction in price and enhancement in capabilities would require a constant endeavor for research and development, he Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) - Rajasthan and some other IITs and technical institutions are setting up research teams to cover a wide range of issues in achieving our ultimate goal in terms of price and quality. "The three cardinal principles of the Education Policy viz-a-viz, access, equity and quality could be served well by providing connectivity to all colleges and universities, providing low cost and affordable access cum computing devices to students and teachers and providing high quality e-content free of cost to all learners in the Country," said an official press release.
